We self-perform, so nobody is waiting
On most commercial jobs the delay is not the work — it is coordination. The mechanical contractor waits on the electrician, the electrician waits on the plumber, and the duct is three weeks out from a shop two hundred miles away.
It also means the schedule is ours to set. How fast a job goes depends on how many people we put on it, and because the crews are on our payroll that is a decision we make rather than one we wait on.
